We’re obsessed with the newly designed Jacquemus HQ in Paris

There aren't many people we trust as arbiters of taste quite like we do Simon Porte Jacquemus.

In the world of Jacquemus, it seems everything is nostalgic and idyllic. Nostalgia takes different forms throughout the designers creative expression, like his AW20 campaign, which was rife with 90s references – disc mans, vending machines, and Barbie cars – or his Images books, a compilation of the designers favourite images from his most precious memories. His infamous runway shows are another example, which often take place in the south of France – the birthplace of the designer – and reference the simple pleasures Jacquemus was raised with, a direct influence in his clothing.

The French fashion designer and his eponymous label based out of Paris feel like they're always one step ahead of the game when it comes to their beautiful ready-to-wear looks and picturesque field-side runway shows. But they're also delivering some of the most mouthwatering interiors we've seen in a while.

The brand's newly renovated HQ in the 8th arrondissement binds modern lines and mid-century furnishings with the bones of the original building, creating the kind of interior dreamscape apt for the Jacquemus brand – classic silhouettes elevated for the modern woman. Truly the workspace of our dreams, it encompasses coffee stations and conversation pits, summery dining areas, gallery walls and rooftop sun loungers.

Jacquemus posted a suite of photographs and videos to the brand's Instagram page this morning and yesterday to show off the space – which is filled to the brim with incredible artworks all curated by the designer himself.

Notably there are several artworks from French sculptor and painter Aristide Maillol – like the Sculpture, L’Air (2e état), 1938–1939 bust, and the Nu féminin couché de dos Dina (1942) painting. There are also incredible paintings from the likes of David Hockney, Wolfgang Tillmans and Louis Fratino.

As we witness his eye span across ready-to-wear, accessories, books, ceramics, and now interiors, it begs the question, what's next for the increasingly iconic Maison? We look forward to finding out.
