With love from Ibiza. After reuniting for a wedding in Italy, SIR The Label's Nikki Campbell and Sophie Coote travelled to the Spanish island with a group of their closest friends for what they deemed a friend-moon. Beach hopping, reading, and dining at Jondal Beach, below, Campbell and Coote share their trip highlights.

 

Tell us a little about your travels through Ibiza?

Following a friend's wedding in Italy, a small group of our closest friends travelled to Ibiza for a week-long friend moon. We spent our days wandering through town, taking boat trips to Formentera and exploring the incredible beaches scattered around the island.

 

Where did you stay? Do you have a favourite hotel or property?

We stayed in a private villa just out of town which was the perfect base for our trip. Another favourite of ours is Six Senses.

 

What was your favourite moment from the trip?

Our boat day to Formentera. We spent the morning cruising around the island followed by a late lunch at Beso Beach Club before soaking in the sunset as we headed home.

 

What sights were on your must-do list?

We love Sunset Ashtram and the small beach bar attached to it for a beach day and sunset drinks. Jondal Beach is also a must-do, perfect for renting sunbeds for the day before heading to a beautiful late lunch at the restaurant by the sea.

 

What was the most unforgettable meal you ate?

The whole fried cod and Atlantic razor clams at Jondal Beach – the food is so fresh and full of flavour, it was an amazing food experience.

What are your favourite things to do on holiday?

We both love exploring new places and completely immersing ourselves into the local scene – driving around and discovering hidden gems and wandering through the streets discovering everything the town has to offer.

 

What’s your perfect travel outfit?

In Ibiza it was all about pairing cover ups with swim – lightweight silk cotton pants paired back with a bikini or scarf top, and oversized poplin shirts over a one piece.

 

What three things will you always have in your bag when you travel?

Dermaviduals, especially the Oleogel for hydration and sunscreen, a film camera and a good book.

 

What is your favourite travel read?

This trip – Where The Crawdads Sing, Delia Owens.

 

What spot is next on your holiday list?

We are heading back to New York in September for Fashion Week and are hoping to tack on a few days in Jamaica – we've always wanted to visit!
