Simon Porte Jacquemus knows escapism. And he knows Marseille, in Southern France, having grown up near the port city. This week on Instagram, the designer treated us to a little of both, with a 'mini city guide'. Complete with sunset views, the bluest ocean and ideal date ideas.

It's not the first time Jacquemus has invited us to enjoy his beloved Marseille. (Albeit from a distance, for those far from Europe.) The scenes from his first menswear showing at nearby Calanque de Sormiou still feature in our daydreams.

With international travel on hold (despite the EU lifting bans on Australian visitors) it's a time to plan. And you know we're adding Jacquemus's Marseille recommendations to our wish lists.
