What's good in beauty this month? We're here to tell you. Read on to see the RUSSH favourites in beauty for the month of June.
Glow Recipe can do no wrong. I personally love every product I’ve tried, but our team particularly loves the Avocado Melt Mask. It’s lightweight and yet unbelievably nourishing.
Rose water mists are something of a skincare staple for me. I’ve written about exactly why - rose water helps regulate your skin’s pH. I love the Swisse Rosewater Toner. It’s vegan and has a few other lovely additives like aloe vera to keep your skin nourished.
Our Market and Beauty Director wrote about the benefits of this wonderful cream extensively. It’s a great pick for winter when your skin may need something a little richer for added TLC.
The Fievre is a new home fragrance company that should be on your radar. This brand creates the most wonderful scented candles from raw, perfume-grade materials. So if you’re a little sensitive to smells, these luxe candles will be much easier on your sinuses. We love the Byronesque scent.
Dose & Co are a recent discovery. In addition to collagens, this brand has wonderful plant-based protein powders. Protein powders are such an effective weight-loss aid, helping you stay full and giving your body effective fuel. We love that these particular formulas come from peas.
A silky, nourishing cream designed for low irritation. Even those with the most sensitive skin should have no trouble using this formulation. Created with a well-balanced skin microbiome in mind, this is a great pick for those looking to improve skin health. It's one of our favourites for winter skincare.
If you can move past the fact that this is allegedly made from bovine placenta, it's a heal-all. Our writer Ella Jane listed it as her cult favourite product and says that paired with a good sleep, this serum will do some serious heavy-lifting.
Enzyme exfoliators are effective and yet gentler than acid exfoliants. They're great for sensitive skin types. We love this one from Josh Rosebrook. It’s a top pick of Editor in Chief Jess Blanch.
Hermès Rouge Hermès Lipstick
What makes these lipsticks so special (in addition to being created by Hermès) is that they’re refillable. No need to throw away the casing when it’s finished - which you wouldn’t want to do anyway since the case is wonderfully intricate and a beautiful piece in itself.
We've long been advocated for plastic-free beauty. We've written about beauty bars before, like shampoo bars. The idea is that it is a shampoo formulation but without water, so there's no need for a plastic bottle to hold the product. A new brand on our radar is Nue Bar, which creates shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even face wash bars - all without hefty packaging except a recyclable paper sleeve for protection.
