Black Swan. Jackie. The Diary of a Young Girl. Natalie Portman can do it all, an enviable cinematic range that has seen her awarded an Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA amongst other prestigious accolades. Having commenced her acting career at the tender age of 12, she has since become a household name and, along with it, her style has evolved and provided us many iconic moments seared into our minds. 2019 Oscars, anyone?

Portman is a Dior woman, the face of various campaigns including Miss Dior, and it isn’t hard to see why. With a certain je ne sais quoi, Portman embodies the Dior woman and her values, their way of seeing and their attitude to dress. She isn’t afraid to shake things up, indulging in printing and bold colouring on occasion, yet knows the formula that suits her. It is a lesson in dressing for yourself, yet remaining open to boundary pushing moments.

Most recently, we’ve seen Portman in the latest instalment of the Thor films, starring alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Throughout the press tour, we’ve been treated to a series of looks – some featured below – including the unexpected yellow tweed set evocative of Clueless and a Dior pyjama set Portman praised as being “the most glam ones” to wear to work. When Maria Grazia is on your speed dial, it’s safe to assume your ensemble will always be elevated.

From her 90s style moments through to the Oscar red carpet, Portman is unmatched. Here, we breakdown her most iconic looks in a Natalie Portman style file for the ages.
