Lorde wants to talk to Harry Styles and don’t we all, queen!

Lorde is really having the hot girl summer of everyone's dreams for us right now, after re-emerging from her three-year hiatus to promote her third studio album, Solar Power, arriving on August 20, the singer has been packing on the content, and now she wants to talk to Harry Styles.

Between getting so day-drunk with Seth Meyers that she needed an IV drip to recover, performing Solar Power on a dreamy NYC rooftop, email newsletter after email newsletter, and simply being glorious, the New Zealand native has set her sights on the Styles', as she reveals on Vogue’s 73 Questions series.

While filming in the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, Lorde is asked which artist she is “dying to collaborate with”, to which she says, "I kinda want to talk to Harry Styles,” and, same queen, but here's hoping Lorde's dream of a collaboration is slightly more within reach than mine. It would appear we have more in common than just our names and songs that make us emotional (Lou Reed's Perfect Day), Who'd have known!

As for the rest of the interview, she explained why she isn’t making CDs for Solar Power, and that it comes down to “Everything that I make physically, I want it to be something that I have in my house and I don’t have any CDs at my house.” which means she has turned to a solution, and releasing a range of eco-friendly merch, which will include a collectible music box item, instead.

Last week, after Lorde stans were absolutely pleading for more from the forthcoming album, the singer released her second single from Solar Power, titled Stoned at the Nail Salon a dreamy, visceral ballad with background vocals from none other than Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo, Marlon Williams, and James Milne.

Let's just say we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any further movements of the prospect of a collaboration. Do we think Harry will slide in the DM's?
