Max Mara celebrates the 2023 Women in Film Honours

On Thursday, Max Mara celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Women in Film Honours at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles. At the event, Max Mara's own Global Brand Ambassador, Maria Giulia Prezioso Maramotti, presented Black-ish star Yara Shahidi with the 2023 WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award, in recognition of her extraordinary acting achievements.

Shahidi and Maramotti were joined by a host of other familiar filmic faces – including Eva Longoria, Lili Reinhart, Jane Fonda, Greta Lee, America Ferrera, Lara Worthington and Celine Song.

Réalisation Par opens its Sydney pop-up store

Cult favourite fashion brand Réalisation Par have thrust open the doors to their first-ever Sydney pop up store in Paddington today, giving shoppers an opportunity to peruse their coveted range IRL for the first time. The converted two-level terrace is a dream to visit – complete with upstairs changing rooms and calming incense burning.

The pop-up store will be open from today (Friday 1 December) until the end of the month (Sunday 31 December) at 29 William Street in Paddington.

 

Lucy Folk x LIDO swimwear drops

Lucy Folk has collaborated on an exclusive swimwear capsule with Italian luxury swim brand LIDO. The limited-edition five-piece swimwear drop features five of LIDO's classic styles, each designed to showcase Folk's signature embellishment style and lacing techniques that tie them in with Folk's Spring Summer 24 collection. The collection is crafted from premium, recycled Lycra from Northern Italy, and is inspired by the hues of semi-precious stones.

The capsule collection is available to shop exclusively through Lucy Folk and LIDO in stores and online from today.

 

New Balance partner with the Australian Open and United Cup

New Balance has signed a three-year deal with the Australian Open and the United Cup to become their official performance apparel and footwear provider. As part of the deal, New Balance will be putting together a two-story activation on-site at the Grand Slam Oval, and releasing an exclusive Australian Open co-branded line of performance apparel and footwear.

“We are thrilled to join with New Balance. We share a common goal of growing tennis through innovation while honouring the sport’s rich heritage, making New Balance an obvious partner for two of the sport’s biggest events – the Australian Open and the United Cup,” said Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis.

MR PORTER x Jaeger-LeCoultre release watch collaboration that pays homage to Sydney

MR PORTER and Jaeger Le-Coultre have collaborated on an exclusive series of three watches, which dropped this week. Each version of the Reverso Classic Large Small Seconds model features bespoke caseback engravings that pay tribute to internationally renowned cities – Los Angeles, Singapore and Sydney. The collaborative series is an extension of the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and MR PORTER, which first began in 2021 with the New York, London and Hong Kong engraved editions.

Luxury fashion resale app HIGH END launches

A new luxury fashion resale app has launched, ready for shoppers to buy and sell their their luxury fashion goods online. The platform, called HIGH END, has been pioneering luxury fashion sales online since 2011, and already boasts a cult following 110,000 strong. With the intention of creating an online resale space that prioritises the purchasing and listing of authentic designer pieces, the app has integrated an additional layer of security through AI, providing customers and sellers with assurance and safety around their listing.
