Forever young with Coach for Spring Summer 2022

Skate, 90s grunge to even a little 70s flair - Coach Spring Summer 2022 gave it all. What was, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated moments for New York Fashion Week; American icon and New York native Coach set the tone for NYC-style to come.

The show was a huge success. The collection seem to follow on from the house's recent themes in celebrating optimism, community and all things spirited and youthful. The collection showcased a round up of clashing colours, mixed plaids, tweeds and prints; playfully reminiscing on every 90s and early 00's teen movie following on with plaid skirts and worn out tees, beaded chokers and even low slung shorts reverent of the grass smoking boys of 90s.

Other trend driven pieces followed - including the big return of the bralette, double denim styling, cotton boxers and even trompe l'oeil printed t shirts. However, Coach still remained the heritage brand Coach. Beautifully printed silk mini dresses made this seasons runway as well as the prestigious and artisanal signature Coach leather handbags, belts and accessories.

Taking real flight into nostalgia, Coach Spring Summer 2022 show came accompanied by its own video. Opening with a comedic tribute to the ASMR star that was our beloved television host and painting instructor Bob Ross, the video segwayed into other themed tv segments reverent of the 90s before following on with a fish eye lens opening to the show. Coach's chief creative director Stuart Vevers paves a new way forward for the American brand, one that is with flair, of elegance, fun and joyful.
