A24 is branching into a beauty company… allegedly

a24 beauty

Could it be true? A24, production company of the moment - you know the one, responsible for the whole cult-like gang of Euphoria, Midsommar, Moonlight and Hereditary - are allegedly launching a beauty brand entitled Rules Beauty no less, and they seem to be hiring.

Dubbed a "new A24 portfolio company focusing on the beauty space”, Rules beauty has been speculated to be a merging of famed Euphoria characters and dysfunctional lovers, Rue and Jules by fans (remember the lip tattoo?), which, if correct, could mean that the whole scenario is inspired by the show. Meaning 00s glitter for all!

“This is a unique startup opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to work closely with the brand’s General Manager to build our team, processes and best practices from the ground up,” the job listing notes. As far as the brand itself goes, we really know very little, but what we do know is that the listing posted by A24, states that Rules Beauty is seeking a Director of Operations and Supply Chain for the yet to launch venture. In short, the production company is on the hunt for someone to lead and manage all operational activities, build strategy and oversee day-to-day execution for Rules beauty. Think high level beauty exec. NBD.

Sounds like something you'd be interested in? Should you be based in LA (niche but expected) and have 8 years minimum experience in supply chain or sourcing preferably in the beauty industry, this job is for you. You can find the full listing, here. Happy applying!

It may seem slightly off that a huge production company should stray from what they know best, but it wouldn't be the first time they'd expanded in a different way. Just last month A24 released a special edition Euphoria book, which, as expected, flew off the shelves in no time with its script excerpts and exclusive imagery captured by Jacob Elordi.
