This Valentine's Day, skip the chocolates and lingerie and say it with flowers. (Or, why not gift all three?) Of all the classic Valentine's Day grand gestures, I find sending a bouquet to be the most special. We all remember the first time we received flowers as a token of affection. Maybe it was a school-aged crush that surprised you with a charity rose or a lover who perfumed your home with vases of tulips. Perhaps, it was the friend who sent you a bouquet to say congratulations or the grandparent wishing you happy birthday from afar. Whatever it is, a bunch of flowers is a memorable gift that never never goes unappreciated.

While red roses are tradition for Valentine's Day, they're not the only bloom that can get your point across. Be creative, original, or ask your florist freestyle with their favourite seasonal picks — much like a mixtape, the more personalised the better.
