We can’t stop thinking about Timothée Chalamet’s Venice Film Festival outfits

Timothée Chalamet venice film festival

We can always count on Timothée Chalamet for our daily dose of serotonin, and at Venice Film Festival 2022 the actor elicited enough to keep us powered for a month. While attending the premiere of his most recent film, a cannibal romance entitled Bones & All, he arrived in his most daring red carpet look yet. If the goal was to raise our heart rate, well it certainly worked.

If there's one thing we love, it's when Chalamet shows us a little skin. In the past, this has meant a bare-chested suit situation like the custom Louis Vuitton at the 2022 Oscars but for his latest red carpet moment, he stepped out wearing a custom blood-red, lamé Haider Ackermann haltersuit. There was a scarf, it was backless, the pants were ti-ght! Basically, we devoured the whole damn thing.

His hair was gorgeous and tousled, and the outfit was completed with a set of silver Cartier rings. Bones & All reportedly received an 8.5 minute standing ovation – the longest of the festival yet – and we can't help this was in part due to Chalamet and his co-star Taylor Russell, who wore a green Balenciaga Couture evening gown.

So far, Chalamet's Venice Film Festival wardrobe has been a mixed bag of cult street brands and designer names. He's worn a t-shirt from Heaven by Marc Jacobs, a vintage Bauhaus band tee, and a mismatched cardigan, brooch, cargo shorts and combat boots pulled directly from Celine Spring 2023 Menswear. Following the Bones & All premiere, Chalamet attended a party held by Cartier with his close friend, Haider Ackermann, this time sporting an all-black suit. When Timothée Chalamet wins, we all do.
