The answer – if you love corsets with a touch of the supernatural – is of course, nothing. Naturally then, the latest series from Binge, titled, The Nevers, will be right up our alley.

The six-episode series follows a group of Victorian women who develop unlikely and powerful abilities when the city is hit by the 'Touched'. What is The Nevers about?

Set in the final years of Queen Victoria's reign, The Nevers follows the people of London after the city is plagued by the 'Touched'. Affecting mostly women, we watch along as they begin to develop abnormal abilities – both equally useful and sinister.

According to the official series synopsis; "They are the champions of this new underclass, making a home for the Touched while fighting the forces of… well, pretty much all the forces—to make room for those whom history as we know it has no place."

Who has been cast in the new series so far?

The Nevers features an impressive female cast; many of which you will already be well acquainted with. Outlander's Laura Donnelly takes on the role of lead character as Amalia True and is joined by Ann Skelly (Vikings) as Penance Adair. Olivia Williams, Amy Manson, Pip Torrens and Elizabeth Tomlinson also make an appearance.

British actor James Norton will portray Hugo Swann, a “pansexual posh boy” who runs a secret club, while comedian Nick Frost is The Beggar King; a low-level criminal in the community.
