Summer Camp Festival has laid down new dates for its rescheduled tour

Due to you-know-what, last year Summer Camp festival was postponed. Now with restrictions melting away and the promise of normalcy appearing more tangible by the day, organisers behind the festival have felt the time was right to lay down new touring dates for November 2022.

Dreamt up by the creator of Heaps Gay, Kat Dopper, and Grant Gillies and David Gillett, former Sydney Mardi Gras Marketing and Internationals Talent Managers, the festival has been penned as a 'summer camp' for adults - emphasis on the camp. For all our queer and gender diverse hotties, this one's for you. It's intended as a safe space where everyone is welcome, regardless of the unique intersection you come from.

The festival will go ahead as intended, with the only changes being new dates. So far, it will make its way to Sydney and Melbourne in early November with the details about its arrival in other states coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled. For its inaugural year, Summer Camp Fest aims to celebrate the richness of Australian music. Think The Veronicas, Cub Sport and Confidence Man. As well as a heady lineup of music across two stages, the festival will also include dance, performance art, art installations and of course, various food and drink options to soak up all the fun with.
