Saint Laurent has just opened the doors to its first flagship store in Australia. Located on Collins Street in Melbourne, the store’s façade presents itself on one of the most desired street addresses in the center of the popular city.
The new Collins Street boutique offers a complete vision of the brand and original shopping experience reflective of the luxury Maison’s identity. Unlike any other Australian store, the flagship consists of three incredible storeys with the top level acting as an exclusive and very special VIP and private dressing salon. This third-floor venture is all set up with vintage furniture pieces sourced by Saint Laurent and a sleek concrete wall - not to mention there’s an in-store elevator that will get you there, because why not?
A super smooth and monochromatic dream, the space embodies a contemporary take on the French modernist movement of the early 20th century. Floors and walls are adorned in white statuario marble, with structures in nickel-plated brass and extra clear glass. Black silk marble and concrete benches are complete with smooth leather, while suspended, ultra-shine hanging rails all reflect the minimalist and timeless sophistication of the Art Deco style.
The new flagship of course offers a wide selection of products to shop from both the women’s and men’s collections including ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, sunglasses and jewellery. Favourites include the Jane Over-The-Knee Boots, Sunset Chain Bag and Medium Pouch case.
