Of course, this depends on how we choose to define intelligence. There are are many different kinds of smarts and our unique talents can all manifest in different ways. But if we are talking about academics, book-smarts, quick wit and an all-round savvy nature, there are a few signs that tend to have these traits in spades. See below, the most intelligent star signs of the zodiac.

 

Scorpio

Sharp, quick and extremely savvy, Scorpios are generally considered to be one of the most (if not the most) intelligent star sign. As a Water Sign, they're naturally in touch with their emotional side and as such, are known to be incredibly perceptive. These cerebral folks often are multi-talented and incredibly street-smart. So remember, Scorpios are not easily fooled. Do not try to pull wool over their eyes or you may end up feeling the full force of the Scorpio Sting.

 

Aquarius

These folks are known for their analytical approach to the world around them. They're excellent with new technology and have a unique ability to distill complicated jargon into palatable concepts. As an Air sign, these talented communicators make incredible teachers and tutors. They're also one of the most opened-minded star signs and are always willing to entertain new ideas and concepts.

 

Virgo

Can't find a solution to your problem? It's probably because you haven't yet consulted a Virgo. While this Earth sign doesn't have the sharp, street-smarts of Scorpio, they're incredible lateral thinkers. Practical Virgo never met a spreadsheet they didn't love. These organised, research-loving brains are natural detectives and have the ability to see patterns that many others can't.
