RUSSH Loves: 10 luxury fashion favourites from April

10 Luxury

The past month I've been reflecting on how fast this year has already travelled and how we we find ourselves already in mid April. Here at RUSSH, once again, we round up and share with you our 10 luxury fashion favourites from this month, from Dior belt bags to Celine chain and locks - here is what the RUSSH office has loved.

Fendi Shell Bag

Fendi

Last week we saw the opening of Fendi's new Sydney Flagship and I introduce to you the ultimate pouch, the beloved Fendi Shell. Subtle in its brand stamp (which I love) and made in Italy of course, a giant crochet cotton pochette hand-woven with traditional crochet techniques, this bag will become your be all, complete with two hooks for that attachable shoulder strap.

Louis Vuitton LV Blade Sunglasses

LV

Sadly, earlier this month, I learned the hard way through an appointment with my opthamologist that eye health is a real thing. Since then, I have no longer referred to sunglasses as an accessory, however have managed to put it in the same category as sun protection and the upkeep of my general health. In my search for the perfect, now "essential" pair, I came across the most beautiful LV Blade. Louis Vuitton's square framed eyewear with black acetate and tastefully shaded green lens, the LV Blade is yet to join my pile of timeless luxury classics.

Max Mara Skirts

Max Mara

Enter phase two in building our layers for the winter, now enters Max Mara. A long floor or mid length skirt has always been a coveted item of mine and in my search, I could no longer look past the beautiful draped cream skirts by one of our favourite heritage brands, Max Mara.

Dior Saddle Belt Bag

Dior

Carry what you have to carry, as long as you carry it well. No further introduction is needed as we are all aware of the Dior Saddle, however the Dior Saddle in a belt bag is one we all couldn't go amiss.

Cartier La Panthère Watch

Cartier

This month Cartier graced us with a few new objects of desire including the house's iconic Panthère in a new range of time pieces. A time piece that one could consider both a watch or a statement jewel, Cartier's Quartz movement La Panthère timepieces that have now become available in 18k yellow gold or pink gold, (complete with the dazzling Cartier panther pear cut emerald eyes) was one of the luxury mysteries we revealed in this month.

Hermes Calfskin Belts

Hermes

A great belt is often overlooked, an item that I find remains very underrated when it comes to owning our attention. Last week the RUSSH office was graced with the Autumn/Winter 21 Hermes Object Book and these beautiful calfskin belts with bold, but still tasteful, silver hardware grabbed my attention. Available in different tans and widths, it'll be hard to find another that can rival an Hermes on your waist.

Celine Jewellery

Celine

Always will and always will be a big collector of jewellery. This season Celine embark on a more playful curve with its seasonal jewellery, including the ever so quaint Celine Paris bracelet and LE 16 necklace, both in brass with a gold finish. When it comes to jewellery - Celine's take on Paris, love, alphabet blocks and locks and keys are ones that we all must consider.

Balenciaga Denim

Balenciaga

Sometimes a luxury favourite can come down to something as simple as good denim. Balenciaga might best be known for its eccentricities but if one continued the search, they would find that the house offers a range of beautiful and staple denims that can be simple enough to wear everyday and quality enough to keep forever.

Chanel Flats in Lambskin and Tweed

Chanel

A Chanel favourite, always and forever the Chanel flat comes in different coloured lambskin and tweeds. Chanel's signature ballet flat with its iconic capped double C toe, all eyes are on this seasons latest offerings whether you mark you selection in gold, pink or pastel tweeds.

Rolex Explorer

Rolex

Mens/womens, femme/masc - in 2021, does it matter anyway? At RUSSH, we're big on timepieces and this month, instead of opting for our usual hand in a quaint mini watch, the Rolex Explorer caught my eye. Not only is the watch built to last including its unrivaled endurance in the extreme, the Oystersteel band and waterproof protection not only means its built to last, but is the perfect steer from the dainty to a more masculine statement for the bold.
