The most memorable moments from Jeremy Scott's Moschino

Jeremy Scott has announced his exit from Moschino today after 10 years at the helm of the iconic label.

The news came via an Instagram post, which read:"AFTER 10 YEARS I AM ANNOUNCING TODAY THAT I WILL BE LEAVING MOSCHINO. IVE HAD A BLAST CREATING DESIGNS THAT WILL LIVE ON FOREVER. I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT IVE RECEIVED OVER THIS PAST DECADE. AS I CLOSE THIS CHAPTER I AM FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT & ANTICIPATION AND CANT WAIT TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL WHAT I HAVE IN STORE FOR YOU NEXT!"

In the decade since taking on the role of steering Moschino, Scott has become synonymous with the campy, tongue-in-cheek brand, offering up some of the most memorable fashion moments of the past decade through the House.

“These past 10 years at Moschino have been a wonderful celebration of creativity and imagination. I am so proud of the legacy I am leaving behind,” Scott said in a statement. “I would like to thank Massimo Ferretti for the honor of leading this iconic house. I would also like to thank all my fans around the world who celebrated me, my collections, and my vision, for without you none of this would be possible.”

For Scott's debut Fall Winter 2014 collection, the designer's take on consumer culture with riffs on McDonalds packaging, fast food, and Spongebob Squarepants marked one of his most seminal collections for the House, before going on to lead Moschino to endless red carpet success, alongside some of the most memorable runway shows of the decade.

Massimo Ferretti, Chairman of Aeffe S.p.A, who owns both Moschino and Scott’s eponymous label, said in a press release: “I am fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with the creative force that is Jeremy Scott. I would like to thank him for his 10 years of commitment to Franco Moschino’s legacy and for ushering in a distinct and joyful vision that will forever be a part of Moschino history.”
