It was not long after French fine jeweller Marie-Étienne Nitot established Chaumet Maison in 1780, that he began to sign his letters with the words 'naturalist jeweller'. And over the more than two hundred years since, Chaumet has continued to bring to life this statement of intent: authentically finding new ways to honour Mother Nature through their creations.
Across four chapters of its new High Jewellery collection, entitled Le Jardin de Chaumet, the fine jewellery Maison invites wearers to stroll through wooded undergrowth, wander through fields of wheat, gilded by the sun, and be enchanted by fields of flora – pansy, tulip, iris and arum.
Lensed by Jess Ruby James and styled by Charlotte Agnew, model Malaika Holmén is adorned in Chaumet’s High Jewellery Collection, Le Jardin de Chaumet, for the pages of our September Intuition issue, an homage to the sprawling beauty of the natural world, and to Chaumet's poetic elucidation of its charms.
