How do you stay creative in isolation?

Living with my girlfriend, we have been able to continue working, shooting lots together so it has definitely kept my creativity flowing.

What are some of your daily rituals?

In the morning, meditation followed by a very cold shower and on some evening’s after long days connected, I turn off every device and spend some time with my thoughts.

What are you reading / watching / listening to?

Right now The Road Less Travelled by M. Scott Peck and I have always been obsessed with everything from early 90’s, especially basketball, so this Netflix series The Last Dance has rolled around at a really nice time. Music, I have the Modern Lover’s on repeat but if I need a lift then I put on Kayex’s new party poppers.

How do you and your partner navigate isolation together?

We are both kind of used to it, we spend lots of time traveling together and being in each other’s pockets, so we have kind of worked how to navigate through it. Oh’ and we are lucky enough to have enough spare rooms in our apartment!

How do you stay healthy (mentally and / or physically)?

Consistently performing those daily rituals has really put me into a good head space. Physically, getting outside and getting my heart rate up, I have began cycling long distances. I think I am secretly training for something but I don’t know what it is yet.

What do you appreciate the most right now?

Sunshine, spring has arrived here in Berlin, so being able to soak that in.

What do you miss the most?

A big part of what I do includes traveling and it’s often very last minute, so I miss the excitement that comes with that and being able to move freely at the drop of a hat.

What are you currently working on?

I have been really interested with the small changes to people’s everyday lifestyles, so I have been documenting that here in Berlin.

What is your current state of mind?

I have become very aware of my thoughts and actions, with less plans and commitments, I have begun to focus much more clearly on every part of my day. And fortunately, I am in comfortable surroundings with a beautiful person so things are good!
