At the moment, it feels like there is no cinematic masterpiece that A24 isn't responsible for, and the production title is showing no signs of slowing down, with the news that comedian Julio Torres will be writing, directing, and starring in a new project under A24.

En route to his filmic debut which has whispers of Tilda Swinton being attached to, according to The Hollywood ReporterTorres will produce the currently untitled movie alongside A24. Emma Stone and Dave McCary will produce alongside the duo via their company Fruit Tree. McCary, a former Saturday Night Live writer-director, is a frequent collaborator of Torres’, who was also a writer on SNL from 2016 to 2019 and has credits on two 2021 episodes. A relationship with the NBC staple which he has previously described as fluid, explaining that his 2019 exit was an “open-ended goodbye.”

For those who don't know Torres, he is best known for his HBO stand-up special My Favorite Shapes, which McCary produced, and his HBO comedy series Los Espookys, which is returning for a second season, soon.

As for the plot, confirmed cast, and even title, all of the aforementioned is completely unconfirmed, which leaves very little to speculate on, except for the fact that if Swinton is tied to it, it will be beautiful and ethereal and raw and all the good things, just like everything else she touches. Emma Stone should also add an animated flair, we assume.
