Lately, as I often find myself reaching in my closet for scarves and fleece jackets, I have come to realise that winter may finally be upon us. At RUSSH, having well and truly begun our winter round ups to aspire and inspire for the season ahead – here we now share with you our 10 favourite winter accessories from woolly socks and mohair scarves to leather gloves and knitted hats.
Mohair and cashmere will always make the list, as well as you'll see below an excellent move by Spanish fashion House, LOEWE. We only imagine how well these colourful striped accessories would pair with a sleek coat or wrapped and draped around ones shoulders. Wool berets are also on our fashion forecast, but we're leaning toward colour this season – the black beret French cosplay will not be in sight.
A good scarf is always needed and considered well worth the investment as if you get it right, a good scarf can last you a lifetime of timeless love. As the list goes on, for winter anything in teddy or shearling is always worthy of a notable mention, however once again, as often warned, as far as the use of any heritage fabrics go, it must remain well considered and done right otherwise it will appear an utter disaster (be careful!). Below we have included our knitted bonnet / balaclava favourites by Paloma Wool, although I must say I would never underestimate any of the originals by UGG or shearling by Schott NYC. In having said all that, peruse at your own pace, below are 10 of our favourites for winter with RUSSH.
