Zoe Kravitz directorial debut thriller ‘Blink Twice’ is inspired by the worlds response to the #Metoo movement

Actor and Musician Zoe Kravitz is putting down her cat suit and sinking her claws into Pussy Island. Her directorial debut, formally called Pussy Island, now Blink Twice, where her now fiancé Channing Tatum, will be playing the lead role in her thriller film.

Here's everything we know about Blink Twice, below.

What's the plot?

Pussy Island follows a young Los Angeles cocktail waitress named Frida, who has her sights set on tech mogul Slater King, played by Tatum. When the waitress  finds her way into King’s inner circle, she is invited to attend an intimate gathering on his private island. Unfortunately for most female leads in thriller films, it's not nearly as idyllic as it all seems, and despite the beautiful location and wealthy people, Frida uncovers that the island is far more terrifying than expected. Spooky!

Kravitz recently expressed that the script and previous film title (Pussy Island) was inspired by the worlds response to the #Metoo movement, alluding the title is the seed for the story, representing a time that men would not get called out for naming a place that. Looking back on that time now, this movie highlights the dangers and ignorance to such behaviour, creating the thriller that it is. Think Knifes Out and Get Out.

Kravitz penned the script alongside E.T. Feigenbaum, and she will serve as producer with Bruce Cohen of Bruce Cohen Productions, Tiffany Persons and the production companies Free Association and This Is Important.
