Wittner’s Autumn Winter 23 collection draws on contemporary classics

The oncoming of Autumn never feels quite welcome when you've had a summer as sweet as we have this year. As the seasons change and the sun dips lower, earlier, we start to reflect on all of the things that the cool front can offer us. What plays on the mind for us, is our wardrobes. How we might adapt the things we already love for another season, what we might like to add to carry us through the weather change.

Wittner's Autumn 23 collection bridges this gap, offering a timeless collection that balances current trends with pieces that will last across the seasons. Contemporary shapes and a classic colour palette come together to form a collection that is both wearable for everyday, and for moments out.

“This Autumn 23 collection sees the first injection of cooler-weather styles as we ease into the changing seasons. Classic shapes that we’ve reinvigorated to reflect the modern times dominate this collection, colours that can be mixed and matched as new neutrals, and finishes that inspire an outfit from the shoe up,” said Wittner’s Head of Product, Bianca Burd.

“This versatile collection was designed with a capsule wardrobe sensibility in mind - colours, styles, shapes and finishes that can be dressed up or down and combined with a sleek office outfit, or that inspires an adventurous evening with friends.”

The collection campaign, which was shot on the coast of Flinders, Victoria, realises the collection's classic, contemporary styles in moody imagery that highlights the sleek lines of the new offering.

Boots are championed throughout the collection, offered in ankle boots, combat boots, and knee-high iterations for evening wear. Loafers are also a focus with classic flat styles, while elsewhere, they are updated with stiletto heels and chain detailing. Platform patent Mary Janes offer a contemporary option for the going-out shoe, as do strappy silver stilettos. Each silhouette, whether classic or more trend driven, maintains the same level of craftsmanship Wittner has always prioritised as a brand, where design, quality and comfort sits at the forefront of the shoemaking practice which is designed in-house in Melbourne, and crafted with quality, sustainable leather.

“Our key philosophy to ‘walk the Wittner way’ is all about innovation and continuously moving forward by really listening to what your customer wants. Both elements are so important to moving forward and aligning with your customers' wants and needs,” said Wittner CEO Cat Williamson.

“When you take a look back on our history as one of the first mail order fashion businesses and as one of the first to truly embrace the ecommerce platform, you can see our record of innovation.”
