Tomorrowland confirms exactly when it’s landing in Melbourne in 2026

Yes, you heard right: Tomorrowland’s iconic CORE stage is headed to Melbourne in November 2026. For the first time ever, Australia will host a Tomorrowland experience, and fans of deep house and techno have every reason to get hyped (especially after the recent Listen Out cancellation...)

When will Tomorrowland CORE arrive in Melbourne?

We finally have an exact date: CORE Melbourne will be on November 28, 2026.

There's also dates confirmed for Los Angeles (May 2 and 3, 2026), and Medellín (February 20 and 21, 2026).

When and where can I buy tickets?

In addition to dates, Tomorrowland has also dropped pre-registration for the CORE events, which you can access via their website.

So while there's no exact announcement for when tickets will drop, by pre-registering, you'll be the first to know when there is.

How do we know?

The announcement was made as a subtle Easter egg spotted by sharp-eyed festival goers at this year’s Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. A video on TikTok from user @mofftits revealed a world map posted along the CORE stage pathway, quietly highlighting Melbourne and Los Angeles as upcoming destinations for the global phenomenon in 2026.

Since then, Tomorrowland confirmed the news via TikTok, writing, "Tomorrowland presents: CORE. Travelling to all corners of the world in 2026, blending music, nature, and friendship."

This marks a huge step for Tomorrowland, which hasn’t hosted a standalone event in the U.S. since TomorrowWorld in 2015 – and has never hosted one in Australia before.

Tomorrowland organisers told also Rolling Stone Australia that "We are looking into a CORE event, there will be no Tomorrowland festival in Australia."

What is the CORE stage?

The CORE stage, known for its immersive design and jungle aesthetic, made its debut at Tomorrowland in 2017 and has since appeared in Brazil, Tulum, and Medellín. It’s a full sensory experience, built to showcase some of the best names in underground electronic music. And artists like Maceo Plex, Vintage Culture, Dixon, and Disclosure have all graced the decks in past editions.

Since then, CORE has grown into a standalone brand within the Tomorrowland universe, carving out a niche with its focus on house and techno in uniquely beautiful settings.

Their recent CORE Medellín 2025 event was a two-day festival that brought 35 of the scene’s finest house and techno artists to the Colombian city, across three mesmerising stages. With Melbourne’s strong electronic music culture and vibrant festival scene, it’s the perfect city to welcome this next-level experience.
