Being cast in one of Mike White's seasons of The White Lotus has become the peak of an actor's career in the 2020s. We already have three seasons of madness and mystery and murder behind us, but a fourth season set in the French Riviera is officially on the cards.
White is notorious for finding a brand new cast for each season – often pulling some left-of-field casting announcements out of the bag: a few up-and-comers, a few nostalgic faves, the occasional big Hollywood name. But what about Season 4?
While we wait for an official cast announcement (likely to head our way in early 2026), we decided to do our own digging to put together a dream cast of actors we think should be packing their bags for The White Lotus Season 4 next year.
1. Laura Dern

Technically, Dern has already had a voice cameo in Season 2 as Abby Di Grasso, the estranged wife on the phone with Dominic Di Grasso (played by Michael Imperioli) – the voice, Dern says, she "recorded from her closet". It would be no huge stretch of the imagination then to see an already sidelined character make an appearance (as we know, White loves to draw connections with his casts across seasons).
Dern was also spotted meeting for coffee with The White Lotus show-runner (and longtime friend) Mike White in Los Angeles earlier this year, causing the internet to increase its speculating.
2. Jon Gries (Greg)

The White Lotus' only recurring guest across all three seasons is the nefarious Gregg (played by Jon Gries). We think it highly unlikely that his character will suddenly disappear from the plot for Season 4. And hopefully, we'll see Tanya get a little justice soon.
3. Charlotte LeBon (Chloe)

A fan favourite from Season 3, and a frontrunner we think for a return in Season 4 – we usually get a past season character (other than Greg) on a new adventure, and we'd love to see more of Chloe (and her Jacquemus outfits) in the French Riviera.
4. Will Poulter

Poulter's already been making waves for his recurring cameos in The Bear and it's been a minute since he's had free range to use the full extent of his comedic abilities (fans of School of Comedy will be familiar). We could very well see him heading to France.
5. Christine Baranski

Mike White loves to cast actors we love from the 90s and 2000s who've been laying low for a while (à la Coolidge and Posey) – and who is more iconic than the Christine Baranski? While she hasn't exactly been laying low of late (you'll catch her in The Gilded Age and The Good Fight), we think she's got that nostalgic edge that could set her up for a season in France.
6. Jeff Probst

What could be more iconic than a White Lotus cameo from Survivor host Jeff Probst? White famously went on two seasons of the reality TV show – and the two are purportedly friends. We could see him as the hotel's excursion staffer, taking them for off-road drives and day-long hikes redolent of his reality roots.
7. Chloë Sevigny

The ultimate cool-girl? For a season set in France? We think yes.
8. Parker Posey

Earlier this year, White told The Hollywood Reporter he would be interested in an all-star White Lotus season, saying: “It would be easy to just be full-on anthology, but I think it’s more fun to have little threads through the show,” he said in 2023. “If the show goes on for a couple of seasons, it would be fun to have an all-star season.” If Season 4 is it, we'd obviously need to see Parker Posey return as Victoria Ratliff.
9. Daniel Kaluuya

Another actor we haven't seen too much from of late, but who we think would make a perfect casting for The White Lotus. If you know Kaluuya, you know he's got a penchant for some pretty tense contnet – from Jordan Peele horror flicks to Black Mirror to winning an Oscar for Judas and the Black Messiah. We think it's time for him to sink into a pool lounger.
10. Rachel Sennott

To be honest, there's no one that we want to see on the show more. But we can also recognise that Sennott is currently busy helming her own brand-new show, I Love LA at the moment, so this might not be super realistic. However, we wouldn't put it past Sennott to find the time for a season in the Riviera.
11. Michelle Yeoh

What's a trip to a five-star French hotel without a staggeringly rich and sophisticated matriarch to top it all off? We think Yeoh is the perfect fit for the role – a nod perhaps to her role in Crazy Rich Asians?
11. Dacre Montgomery

We know for a fact that the Aussie Stranger Things actor can play the ultimate douchebag, but can he do it twice? We'd like to know.
12. Heather Graham

Graham gives big rich holiday energy if you ask us, and we haven't seen her grace our screens in a hot minute. She's got that nostalgic energy that White's casting is known for – and can fill the blonde bombshell role with ease.
13. Cole Escola

Cole is unreasonably funny and fresh from their Broadway (and Tony-winning) show Oh! Mary. We can definitely see a world where Escola heads to the Riviera for a season of The White Lotus.
14. Amandla Stenberg

Each season has had a woke (but not really) young woman whose ideals are slowly corrupted by the allure of money. Whether it was a feminist Rachel Patton in Season 1, the deludedly altruistic Portia in Season 2, or the wannabe-Buddist Piper Ratliff in Season 3, we think Amandla would perfectly pull off the vibe in Season 4.
