We all know Timothée Chalamet has excellent style, and a pillar of that style has always been an affinity for fleece. He appears to never be far from an endearing selfie clad in a very good hoodie, he even wore sweatpants to the Met Gala this year with a Haider Ackermann tuxedo jacket. So who better to work on a hoodie collaboration with Ackermann himself than Chalamet?

This is what the duo have done, following an announcement from Chalamet today via Instagram that the actor and french designer of his eponymous brand have collaborated on a limited-edition sweatshirt. The hoodie has been created to support Afghanistan Libre, an NGO devoted to fighting for the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan where they are losing their rights to freedom and education. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the hoodie will be donated directly to Afghanistan Libre.

The hoodie, is a white fleece made from crossgrain cotton with a blue Pollock-esque splatter across the chest that has been printed with face, focussing on the eyes. embroidered over the chest in green writing, it reads "Silent Soldier. HA+TC A Common Thread".

"So for a couple of years now @h.a and I have been wanting to make something," Chalamet wrote on Instagram. "Together, in August, we were horrified to learn of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and decided to design a hoodie where 100% of the proceeds will go to @afghanistanlibre : a relief organization with boots on the ground that fights to safeguard women’s and children’s rights - as those atrocities continue to spread, we should amplify the voices of those silent soldiers."
