A representation of fluidity and the innate need to be connected. Stella McCartney launches its Stella McCartney Shared capsule collection.

Stella McCartney Shared is a youthful and genderless exploration of the powerful next generation who share the same Stella McCartney core activist values and similar styles. A celebration of individuality, diversity and positivity in the face of climate change.

 

 

The capsule collection is a wearable, bold and relevant edit of luxurious urban styles that can be shared and worn between both men and women. With a utilitarian aesthetic, Stella McCartney Shared remixes iconic styles such as suiting, soft double coats, trench coats and puffer jackets, all with an urban energy. The playful relationship with gender has long been a signature to the label, with masculine shapes, silhouettes and tailoring regularly incorporated into collections.

Key styles from Stella McCartney Shared include patterned matching sets, monochromatic knitwear and logo-striped hoodies and track pants. The capsule’s graphics were inspired by 70s psychedelic prints, mechanical cars and striking shapes and characters across shirting and t-shirts - a collaboration with London-based illustrator and comic-book artist Will Sweeney.

 

 

Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainability stays true with the Stella McCartney Shared capsule collection. Jersey t-shirts and sweatshirts are made from 100% recycled organic cotton (using up to 70% less water than conventional cotton and no toxic chemicals or pesticides). The capsule collection parkas were also made from recycled polyester, reducing the need for virgin petroleum-based materials.

The Stella McCartney Shared capsule collection will be available to purchase from the Stella McCartney Website, David Jones stores and Harrold's from mid September.
