We’re dreaming of spring with these trans seasonal footwear choices

Spring is on the tip of our tongues, and with it, the fresh optimism of a spring wardrobe, where we shed just enough layers to begin to feel a little lighter, shaking off the weight of winter and welcoming that sweet spring breeze. Heavy coats are replaced with lightweight, trans seasonal options, soft cashmere is switched out for light, breathable cotton weaves, and knee-high boots with mules and slippers. It's not quite warm enough to give in to a full blown sandal just yet, so we'll be leaning into the aforementioned for the time being, with a prediction that they are some of the biggest upcoming Spring shoe trends this year.

Wear them with socks on chilly mornings, bust them out with opaque tights for the evenings when we can dance again, wear them alone to the office with a jean and a button down, just the way we like it. Just enough toe coverage to not feel the chill, just enough exposure for the changing of the season.

After observing the trends of today, and noticing what is happening overseas as they enjoy high summer, we can safely say that mules and loafers have firmly planted themselves at the forefront of the zeitgeist once again, while slippers and closed toe pumps are re emerging into the trend cycle. The ugly shoe is here to stay, that's one thing we can assure you of, with our selection of cork soles and robust toe shapes. So, bust out your Birkenstocks and make like Grace Coddington as we round up our favourite Spring 2021 shoe trends, below.
