Calling out to all up and coming creatives - this one is for you. So far we have seen our dearest Anthony Vaccarello take Saint Laurent on many interesting and different endeavours, from live music shows, Japanese toy bricks to winter skis and basketball, we've just about seen it all. And now, for its next installment, Saint Laurent Rive Droite take flight with its new zine titled FANZINE, set out to support up and coming creatives and photographers with every issue.
The first issue takes off in collaboration with English artist and photographer Indigo Lewin as we welcome the magazine's first guest editor and contributor. The whole issue revolves around showcasing the photographer Indigo Lewin's work, photographs of the artists most intimate moments with friends, family and her surroundings, all captured through an honest lens in the style of an open book or a personal journal.
In a recent press release, Saint Laurent stated, "“Born and raised in London, Indigo Lewin’s body of work is an honest depiction of the world she sees around her... Her curiosity and fascination with intimacy, the body, youth, and friendship, are what guide her work.”
To commemorate the new Saint Laurent Rive Droite FANZINE launch, Saint Laurent Rive Droite in Paris and Los Angeles will hold a small and exclusive exhibition of the photographers work. Indigo Lewin’s photographs will be on display in stores from September 16th, 2021 for a limited time, alongside the official release of Saint Laurent Rive Droite's newest publication FANZINE.
More information on the artist Indigo Lewin is available on indigolewin.com, and more information and news on FANZINE and Saint Laurent Rive Droite available on ysl.com. The exhibition will be held simultaneously throughout both Saint Laurent Rive Droite locations, Saint Laurent Rive Droite Paris 213 Rue St Honoré 75001 Paris, France and Saint Laurent Rive Droite Los Angeles 469 N Rodeo Dr Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
