RUSSH Loves: beauty favourites from April

Our first month of autumn brought with it some exciting new beauty launches that have become staples in my routine. And then there are a few cult favourites that are making their way back into prominence as the chilly weather rolls in.

Below, find the best in beauty for April 2021.

Rationale The Tinted Serum SPF 50+

This all-in-one is the solution to so many problems. A serum, a skin perfector, a sunscreen - this product does it all. Created by brand founder, the truly brilliant Richard Parker, The Tinted Serum is a 30-year labour of love. Don't be fooled by the pale beige colour, the pigments are designed and have been tested to blend to all skintones. My skin in medium-deep and it suits me perfectly, with a glowy, radiant finish.

Trinny London Lip2Cheek

I'm a sucker for a double-duty product. The less I have to carry and store the better. So, a lip and cheek product is an immediate tick tick. What makes this one stand out is the concentrated pigment. A little goes a long way, so you do not need to use much. The tub lasts for a long time.

Hair Rituel by Sisley Revitalizing Fortifying Serum

This scalp serum promotes health, volume, thickness and reduces hair fall - all the things we want to address about our hair essentially. As I've only been using it for a few weeks, I cannot attest to any results yet, but it comes highly recommended with lots of other positive reviews.

StriVectin Super-C Retinol Serum

It's unusual to find products that combine both vitamin C and retinol. Active ingredients (especially vitamin C) can be notoriously unstable and combining them together into one product isn't easy. But StriVectin have done it. If you're sick of using lots of different serums, this one can replace most of what you're using.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint

This perfecting, super sheer foundation is everything you'd want from a light makeup. It looks flawless and glowy on the skin. It sheers out and lets you real complexion shine through without being oily. While I'm not a fan of how much plastic is used in its packaging, even I have to admit its very convenient product to use.

Napoleon Perdis The Light Thief Highlighter

A highlighter bottle that's almost too pretty to use, until you apply it and realise it's even more beautiful on the skin. This liquid highlighter melts into your skin leaving your with a seamless, frosted effect. This is a highlighter-lover's highlighter. Don't use too much, a little goes a long way.

La Mav Glow Beauty Mask

It's hard to feel dull with this mask in your beauty cupboard. With Turmeric, Vitamin C, Kakadu Plum Extract and gentle yellow clay, this Glow Mask is here to put some pep in your step. It's a good one to use once a week. Just don't let the clay dry completely, especially if you have drier skin already.

Kora Organics Turmeric Glow Moisturizer

Can you tell I'm having a turmeric moment? It's a wonderfully, powerful ingredient for skin health. Kora Organics's newest moisturiser includes turmeric in its formulation for healthy, happy skin.

Hermés Rouge Hermés Spring Summer 21 lip colours

These sunny shades are a beautiful way to brighten your day. With the vibrant packaging and the silky formula, it's just hard to have a bad day with one of these in your handbag. The keepsake tubes are refillable too. So you can hold onto the case forever.

Ciaté Marbled Metals

In this case, a picture paints a thousands words. Just look at this glittery pot. It's almost too pretty to use. Creamy, vegan and with and all-day colour payoff, this is great glitter-without-the-glitter product.

Caudalíe Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil

This all natural cleansing oil is powered by almond oil and, of course, grape seed oil - which is full of antioxidants. It dissolves makeup with ease and leaves your skin feeling clean but not dry.

The Beauty Chef Cleanse

This latest powder from The Beauty Chef is designed to support the body's cleaning processes. While I haven't noticed a change in my skin yet, my stomach feels less sore and bloated since taking it once every second day. As for the taste, it'd oddly my favourite tasting of The Beauty Chef powders. I even prefer the taste to Glow.

Augustinus Bader The Body Cream

Banish dry, winter skin with this luxuriously thick body cream. Let's talk clinical trials for a minute, according to the information on the website, this cream reduces the appearances of cellulite by 64 percent on the thighs as determined by the results of a clinical trial. If you're looking for a product with the creds to back up its claims, look no further.
