If you have ever wanted to join Reese Witherspoon’s exclusive book club, now is your chance

Reese Witherspoon's book club app

Some book club presidents are just not like others – case in point, Reese Witherspoon. If like us, you have longed and dreamed of the opportunity to join her covetable crew of literary lovers, the opportunity to do just that has finally presented itself. Much to the delight of fans and bookworms the world over, Reese Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, has announced that her wildly popular book club is digitalising itself in the form of an app.

Taking to Instagram, the actor announced the launch of Reese's Book Club app; a virtual "space to celebrate, explore, and connect with each other through a shared love of reading." The mobile platform will allow users to further connect with the Reese’s Book Club (RBC) community and stay up to date on the latest news, including book picks, surprise giveaways and merchandise releases. Typically, the Big Little Lies star divulges the details of her monthly literary pick via Instagram. However, now users of the app will be able to receive the news first; and if that wasn't already enough, the app is also free.

"After thousands of pages, hundreds of stories, and 50 book picks later, we’re thrilled to welcome you to our next chapter… Introducing the Reese’s Book Club App! Go beyond the books and connect with our stories, authors, and Reese like never before," the book club shared in a post.

If you're unfamiliar with Witherspoon's book club, you'll certainly have come across many of the literary masterpieces she has deemed worthy of the on-screen treatment. Her impressive record includes the likes of Gone Girl, Wild, Big Little Lies, Little Fires Everywhere and the upcoming series, Daisy Jones & The Six. Witherspoon is also in the process of producing the film adaptation of Delia Owen's 2018 coming-of-age mystery novel, Where the Crawdads Sing. The highly-anticipated film is set to star Normal People's leading lady, Daisy Edgar-Jones; however, there's no word yet on a release date.

In the meantime, we'll be able to discover all these books and more through Reese Witherspoon's book club app. Sign us up.
