Storm Reid, Chloë Sevigny and Kim Bassinger star in Mui Miu’s Holiday campaign

Tis’ almost the season after a disastrous and tumultuous year. Highlighting the blissful end in sight is an incredible cast of Miu Miu approved icons who front the new Miu Miu Holiday 2020 campaign lensed by Mert and Marcus.

What defines an icon in this day and age? An icon has become a symbol worthy of admiration and adulation. An example of excellence, an icon can be an actor, a model, a musician and so much more. An icon can represent a set of beliefs and a way of life, but above all, an icon must always mean something.

For this season, Miu Miu’s icons are a myriad of multifaceted and incredible women. Drawn from the universes of cinema, fashion and music, each are diverse role-models and icons for women of all ages. Ones who reflect the ever-shifting idea and ideals of fashion, with a clear unifying trait of absolute individuality.

The campaign shoot was lensed by legendary photographer duo, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, with creative direction by iconic stylist Katie Grand. The Miu Miu icons featured reflect the luxury label’s heritage, while projecting it into a new and exciting future.

The ensemble cast features familiar girl crush face / dream girl forever, Chloë Sevigny, along with actors Du Juan, Raffey Cassidy and a surprising and most welcome appearance from 80s icon Kim Basinger. Newcomers and fresh faces include actor Emma Corrin, musician and actor Kristine Seamón and actor Storm Reid who is best known for her role as Zendaya’s little sister in the hit TV show Euphoria, along with opening the AW 2020 Miu Miu show.

Each special face adds a depth and richness to the Miu Miu universe, all the while wearing inherently feminine and delightful Pre-Spring 2021 collection pieces.

A transformation and reinvention through attitude and fashion. These are the Miu Miu icons now and forever.
