Marc Jacobs has announced a collaboration with pioneering dream pop band, Cocteau Twins, with a capsule collection that incorporates the distinctive qualities of 90s fashion staples, letting us know that Heaven’s signature grunge aesthetic is in a chokehold that will absolutely not let up.

The capsule collection will include five pieces. In true 90s fashion, we have the baby tee, and slit top that would pair swimmingly with their mesh and lace skirt. Accompanying these pieces is a selection of eclectic silver jewellery including a silver hairpin and ring, making the collection the perfect addition to accompany you into the warmer months, preferably with the soundtrack of the band’s seminal album, Heaven or Las Vegas wafting through your headphones.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs has an impeccable track record of giving us those perfectly updated Y2K pieces, making this sacred union a match made in heaven (forgive me). The brand continues to carry the baton with this collusion, perfectly encapsulating the mysticism of the Cocteau Twin's ethereal soaring aesthetic with echoing synth lines for days and ethereal albeit incomprehensible lyrics.

An exhibition dedicated to showcasing the original artwork of graphic designer Paul West who designed the album sleeve of the band’s adored album, Heaven or Las Vegas will run from November 11 until December 12th nearby Heaven’s Fairfax store in Los Angeles accompanied by photography by Andy Rumball.
