The time has come again for us to talk about our luxury fashion favourites throughout the month of January. Ordinarily, January would be the month of frolicking in the sun with our nearest and dearest, a care far from sight. Unfortunately the world has had other plans for us, and we are (still) laying low indoors due to wet weather and the dreaded Omicron outbreak.

It's safe to say, things are feeling a little darker than usual, and our wardrobes are absorbing the mood swings. This month, we are turning towards heavier silhouettes to keep us protected. Ski-like eyewear from Gucci to keep eyes away from prying, with head gear from Miu Miu for security. While much too hot to wear out and about, we're petitioning for the home balaclava to be a thing. In all, it's about cocooning ourselves in what we know best, while taking a few risks along the road. Dark colours replace the usual summer colour palette for lack of need, as we get ready to stomp into autumn albeit rather early. While we're not yet ready to give up the warm weather, we could certainly use the extra layers to protect our souls right now in the name of making it through the month.
