Singer-songwriter Stellie has been inciting buzz since performing in support of Winston Surfshirt in her hometown of Adelaide. Here, prior to her industry debut at Big Sound 2019 in September, she premieres her live performance of Love Me First for RUSSH.com. Of the track the 20-year-old tells us, "When I write music, the most important thing for me is that it sounds just as special and powerful when it’s stripped back to practically nothing. My favourite way to write is just sitting at my piano in my bedroom, getting tangled in-between my own thoughts."

"Love Me First started out just like this - a thought that became a collection of lyrics, that then became complemented by a simple melody. It was so incredibly important to me that I expressed Love Me First in this way, taking it back to the basics and really showcasing the way in which it was initially created. It’s one thing to feel the emotion in a perfectly recorded and released version of a song, but you’re exposed to a whole new and beautiful world hearing someone sing their own thoughts live and stripped back - mistakes and all."
