A return to childlike naivety and an unfettered sense of play are at the heart of Louis Vuitton Men's Fall Winter 23 collection. An homage to the millennial rites of passage that earmark our journey from childhood to adolescence and into adulthood, from the monumental, to the everyday – digging for toys in the toy box, playing on computers, teenage bedrooms. These are circumstances, motifs, memories that connect us intrinsically.
Playing on ideas of formative development, poignantly in a digital age, garments are a mash-up of classical cuts and innovative techniques, each imbued with the spirit of the inner child; a universally human experience.
For our September 'Intuition' issue men's cover, Jordan Barrett dons the Maison's Prêt-à-Porter Homme collection, lensed by Ivar Wigan and styled by Charlotte Agnew. Set against a stark and contrasting industrial backdrop, Barrett feels dreamlike and ephemeral; a reimagining of youthful ennui in a contemporary age.
