Now, after a short hiatus from the big screen, Moore is returning to her thriller roots; embracing the task of helming Stephen King's latest series, Lisey's Story.

Based on King's 2006 novel of the same name, Lisey's Story; this psychological rollercoaster has committed both a stellar cast and production team to bring this tale to the life. The eight-episode series, which will air on Apple TV+, has been written by King himself; with renowned producer J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Wars) and director Pablo Larraín as his right-hand men.

The series follows the story of a woman named Lisey London (Moore), two years after the death of her husband; a famous writer. Although she tries desperately to separate herself from the memories of her late husband, a series of unsettling events force her to confront the years she tried so desperately to conceal.

Starring alongside Moore as her fictional husband, Scott Landon, is Clive Owen. Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Dane DeHaan and Ron Cephas Jones round out the cast to make this an all-star lineup complete.

What is the release date for Lisey's Story?

The series will air on Apple TV+ come June 4; which thankfully, means there's not too long to wait.
