Kate Moss is selling her pre-loved clothes on The RealReal

If you've been kicking yourself ever since missing out on Chloë Sevigny's NYC wardrobe sale earlier this year, then this could be the moment that you begin your redemption arc. Luxury fashion resale website The  RealReal have tapped the shoulder of British supermodel Kate Moss to join a host of actresses, models, stylists and activities for an 'Inner Circle Edit' flash sale on their platform.

Moss will be joining a handpicked list of 19 coveted closet-owners like Julianne Moore, Tessa Thompson, Laura harrier, Lake Bell, Noor Tagouri, Mia Moretti, Leandra Medine Cohen, Ivy Getty, Nicky Rothschild, Michelle Li and – a personal favourite – Succession's Annabelle Dexter-Jones.

Even if you're not in the right tax bracket to be shopping their wares right now, it's a great way to snoop their closets. It turns out Dexter-Jones loves an ALAÏA moment, and Thompson has a penchant for a glittery, Miu Miu mini.

You can also feel doubly good about your purchases because, as part of the sale, The RealReal will also be making a $25K donation to Conservation International to help protect oceans, forests and other living ecosystems. The commitment comes just in time to celebrate National Consignment Month, bringing awareness to recirculating items in your wardrobe as a way to combat climate change and meet the vision of the Paris Climate Accord.

When is Kate Moss's The RealReal sale happening?

The on-sale items will go live on October 17, 2023, on The RealReal's website here. You'll also be able to shop most of the items from their New York Soho store if you happen to be passing through.

What items will be for sale?

You will be able to purchase a curated assortment of more than 300 authenticated items. You can expect luxury and high-fashion items from brands like Gucci, Miu Miu, Rodarte, CHANEL and Prada – and vintage finds from Balmain and Roberto Cavalli. You could get your hands on Tessa Thompson's feathered Miu Miu dress, or Annabelle Dexter-Jones's vintage 1980s ALAÏA blazer – or perhaps her FENDI baguette? Maybe Nicky Hilton's own CHANEL tweed jacket, or Laura Harrier's LOEWE bucket bag. The options are truly endless and gorgeous.
