Get to know director, model, designer and 'Succession' star Annabelle Dexter-Jones

Ask any Succession stan worth their weight, and they'll tell you about their love for sardonic media heiress Naomi Pierce. Complex, brooding, sexy, stylish and with a razor-sharp wit, Pierce was a favourite amongst fans for so many reasons. The British-American actress who plays her, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, is equally as cool and multi-faceted – filmmaking, dancing, acting, modelling and designing being just some of her calling cards.

In a desperate attempt to rehash anything and everything about the HBO show, we thought now would be as good a time as ever to get to know Dexter-Jones, and deep-dive into her personal style file.

 

She comes from music royalty

Dexter-Jones is the daughter of jewellery designer Ann Dexter-Jones and Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones (yes, as in the band Foreigner that sing I Want To Know What Love Is). Jones is also a half-sister to Charlotte and Mark Ronson through her mother, who was married to Laurence Ronson, a London-based real estate mogul.

She is a model, filmmaker and designer

Aside from acting, Dexter-Jones wears a myriad of other creative hats. She was in A24's Under The Silver Lake and The Meyerowitz Stories. She's also designed clothes and modelled, alongside releasing her directorial debut in 2017 at Sundance Film Festival, which was a short film entitled Cecile on the Phone.

 

She auditioned for the role of Naomi Pierce because she's also from NYC

Dexter-Jones was raised in Manhattan, in NYC's Upper East Side with her half-siblings and parents. She told an interviewer that she originally interviewed for the role of Naomi Pierce in Succession because she felt they had similarities due to their similar upbringings.

 

She has great style

Dexter-Jones isn't afraid to play with fashion – donning sequinned dresses, leopard-print berets, bold oversized knits and, lately, lots of CHANEL. She's also a big fan of a pair of adidas Sambas (of which she states she wants "one in every colour"), a comfy pair of jeans (she loves Rag & Bone), black oversized sunnies or an extravagant Halloween costume.
