A ‘RUSSH’ guide to holidaying in Ibiza

Ibiza, known as the White Isle, has experienced what some would call various eras. During the 70s, it was a bohemian haven that attracted a fashionable crowd from Grace Jones to Frank Zappa to Bob Marley to Jean Paul Gaultier, and became the birthplace of the store, Paula's Ibiza. Later, in the 80s, the island would alter the state of clubbing forever with its Balearic Beat. In the 90s, it's reputation as a party island well and truly set in, with hoards of British youth making the short trip come summertime. Now, almost two decades on, the Spanish island is going through another vibe shift. Don't get me wrong, the hedonism and debauchery is there for those who seek it – but thanks to Ibiza's slow food movement, an influx of boutique accommodation and wellness experiences, the island is gaining the attention of a new audience.

If Ibiza is weighing on your mind, take this guide to the best accommodation, restaurants and clubs, to help you plan your next trip. And if Formentera is part of those plans, take this guide too.
