6 of our favourite fashion moments this week

What's in fashion this week? Local news from Australian brands are on our radar, with new releases from Lee Matthews, Rolla's, and in the Northern Hemisphere, Maryam Nassir Zadeh drops resort 2023. Below are our five favourite fashion moments from the week.

Camilla and Marc host an intimate dinner

To usher in a new era of the brand, Camilla and Marc creative director and CEO, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman respectively, gathered an intimate group of 40 or so close friends to break bread on Wednesday evening. Hosted at Marc Freeman's dimly lit residence, guests like RUSSH editor in chief Jess Blanch, Nina Treffkorn of China Heights Gallery and artist Jedda Daisy Culley arrived dressed in its spring summer 2022 Voyage collection, to share a meal curated by food artist Seasonal Simone. Roasted chestnuts lay scattered around the table and there were styling cues taken from the new interweaved "CM" monogram. An affair to remember.

Maryam Nassir Zadeh Resort 23

For her Resort 23 collection, Maryam Nassir Zadeh returned to basics. Reflecting on what she, and the close people around her want to wear as she usually does. Zadeh pinpointed, as astutely as ever, what one would really wear during summer in the city. Namely, New York. Against a signature palette of creams, blues and browns, Zadeh offered up perfect jeans, cotton crops, mesh tank tops, and skirts of the mini and midi variety. The collection plays on Zadeh's signature ability to merge nostalgia and current energy seamlessly together, and we're endlessly on board.
