Happy? Sad? Why not have both with Dr. Martens’ latest partnership alongside Lazy Oaf

Everybody loves a Dr. Martens collaboration. There's nothing that slices through the humdrum of daily life more than a physical reminder that not everything is static. That yes, you can opt for a classic pair of cherry red Dr. Martens, but that's not the only style on offer. So if your flavour of dressing revolves around clashing patterns, bold graphics and embracing the full spectrum of colours, then you'll be chomping at the bit for Dr. Martens partnership with other British icon, Lazy Oaf.

For their fourth team up, both brands have run with a monochromatic makeover of the signature Sinclair boots, Bex lace-up shoes and Bethan buckled Mary Janes. Each style is united by the inverted happy/sad smile that we've come to associate with Lazy Oaf. Find a platform, ribbed tread on each shoe, while the Sinclair and Bethan silhouettes are furnished with leather bows on the upper. As for the laces, the Bex style arrives with a pair heavily dotted with the happy/sad motif.

Founder of Lazy Oaf, Gemma Shiel has said that this "remains one of my favourite partnerships". “If I could time travel back to the mid-90s and tell my 16-year-old self that I would be designing the boots I was saving up for, I would probably melt into a pile of expletives," she said. "I am so excited to release the new range, which coincides with our 20th birthday.”
