Everybody’s got to live together: Cartier unveils ‘Love Is All’, the ultimate hymn to love

Cartier Love is All

A passing flash of a crimson red box, ever so slightly ajar – the key to life’s answers lying inside. The unmistakable seal of love, held together by the tightest of bonds. Cartier has always intimately understood the multi-faceted journey that is love, continuously redefining our understanding to, and relationship with the emotion. A visceral feeling that has the ability to overcome all. True to Cartier's revolutionary history, the Maison is once again setting a new tune, celebrating universal and timeless love with an unparalleled choral film titled Love Is All.

Filmed between Paris, Los Angeles and Shanghai, this hymn to love is a testament to family in all its forms; a spirit of delight and generosity that shines through when in the company of your most treasured companions. Marrying the joy of shared experiences, beauty and intensity, Love Is All brings together 12 friends of Cartier – Ella Balinska, Mariacarla Boscono, Monica Bellucci, Khatia Buniatishvili, Lily Collins, Golshifteh Farahani, Mélanie Laurent, Troye Sivan, Willow Smith, Annabelle Wallis, Jackson Wang and Maisie Williams – for the very first time.

“It’s a part of the Cartier philosophy to believe that we are stronger and more authentic together, and that’s why we have gathered this inspiring community of artists who embrace life with a sense of celebration. Together, they seem to defy gravity through Cartier’s red box, which they have filled with a sense of joy," shared Arnaud Carrez, senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Love Is All was directed by British director and fashion photographer Charlotte Wales. Known for her fresh, considered and light-hearted approach; this youthful and playful film speaks to Cartier's belief that each person’s singularity is enriched by others'.

Complemented by the sentimental pop melody, Everybody’s got to live together, composed in the 70s by Roger Glover and Ronnie James Dio, Cartier Love Is All speaks to our inherent human desire to be united. During the festive season and beyond.
