Blanca Miró Scrimieri

From running her labels Vasquait and La Veste, to consulting with brands this is how Blanca Miró Scrimieri keeps her body healthy and her skin in check whilst getting it done.

Looking for inspiration? What accessory is the perfect accompaniment to your outfit? How to wear colour and print and still look sophisticated? Then you'd be wise to spend a bit of time browsing Scrimieri's Instagram account.

What is your morning beauty routine?

I clean my face with a fresh facial toner from Rudolph Care (Copenhagen) and also use their daily cream. Also I use an Endocare oil to mix different routines on different days.

For my body I use a Moroccan natural oil or a Tromborg (Copenhagen) body cream.

What is your night beauty routine?

For the night before going to sleep I clean my face with the Bioderma Sensibio H2O and use Rowse rosehip oil. I can’t go to sleep if I haven’t done my night routine.

Describe what you do for a living? What does a typical day look like for you?

My days are very different depending on the work I have to do. I run an online platform called VASQUIAT where we have loads of brands and I’m the co founder and fashion director so we have an office in Barcelona and I have to organise my day to be there. I also have my own brand called LA VESTE together with my partner living in Paris. So we also need to organise deliveries and designing new collections and I like to control everything by myself. And finally I also work collaborating with many brands so it’s a crazy mix of work and I’m very happy to be able to be a bit on everything in my every day.

I can work from home or from the office but I like to go to see the VASQUIAT team and also work from there.

What is the supermarket/ drug store/ chemist beauty product(s) that you use and love?

I like some beauty brands and all of them are very organic. My favourites are: Rowse (from Barcelona) their image is beautiful too, Tromborg (from Copenhagen) as they have so many different things and all I’ve tried it’s been worth it, Rudolph Care is also a fav from Copenhagen, their products are so amazing and for my skin which is very sensible, then I love the makeup from Chanel beauty, some Glossier face products and also Tromborg face powders (they’re the best).

What is your main form of beauty body maintenance? What products do you use on your body?

My beauty body routine is easy but slaughtered. I need to workout for my mental health and for my body shape. I’m not a person that without exercising daily I’m going to feel good and have a good body. I’m very skinny and petite but need to move all the time.

I train with a personal trainer nearly everyday with which we have a workout routine taking care of my back as I have scoliosis and that’s why I also do Pilates

I like to do sport, skiing is my favourite sport. From when I was 3 till I was 17, I used to dance ballet but then stopped and I regret it now. Also, I take the bike and go to the mountains.

What cosmetic procedures/ professional treatments do you have as part of your beauty routine?

I don’t really do professional treatments but I make my own at home like the Cold Plunge Pore mask from Ole Henriksen and the Tata Harper whole treatment which is made of seven different products that you have to apply in order. I did an amazing hour and a half face beauty treatment at the St Tropez Hotel Lou Pinet which was an amazing experience and beautiful place.

What do you do when your body needs to recover?

When my body needs to recover I take a hot bath and relax with a candle and just try to not think much. Then I put my pyjamas on and go to the sofa to watch a film or series with my boyfriend having a healthy pizza both covered with a blanket. I try to always eat healthy but we all need to have a crazy night sometimes, that’s how we enjoy life!

You’re tired/ hungover/ rundown: what is your beauty hack?

When I’m tired or hungover I have a bit of anxiety with food and I'm too lazy to wake up and do a healthy routine. So I just let myself go and don’t think too much about what I have to do. That happens always on the weekend so I just chill.

What is the one non-negotiable in your beauty routine?

There’s never an excuse to workout or to clean my face and feel hydrated. And also to drink a lot of tea with ginger and turmeric. A natural pill I take at night which is called Colon Cleanser. I love this.

Do you have a beauty icon? Who are they and why?

I don’t have someone in particular apart from my mum. I enjoy when I see a lot of girls doing so many face and body treatments. But I also prefer not to be a slave of my beauty in general and enjoy life. Make the healthy routine everyday but don’t abuse just do the things that make you feel good and don’t take all of your time!

What is the best advice on beauty you’ve received?

I’ve received so much advice from my mum and I try to obey them in my day to day as she is my muse in everything. And I don’t say that because she’s my mum. I’ve seen how she takes care of her face and body during all these years and she has an amazing skin. Not much sun, a lot of creams and face and body products three times a day. And also taking care of her food routine which is also important for the skin and general health.

The advice that I will forever remember and is written in my mind is when she said: “you should never take off your eyebrows. It's the most important thing in your face and it’s what gives you a strong and unique look.”

What is the best advice on health you’ve received?

Best advice in health comes from my parents too. I will always listen to them. They are my big example to follow. “Exercise a lot, try different sports. Eat a log of green, a lot of fruit, not much sugar (just sometimes to enjoy well some life moments). Don’t sleep with your phone next to you”.

What is the one product you can’t live without?

The one product I can’t live without is the night colon cleanser natural pills.
