BLACKPINK’s Rosé debuts her solo track at the K-pop groups live concert

BLACKPINK's Rosé

Early last week, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Rosé would be making a solo debut at the K-pop group’s upcoming digital concert, and the day has finally come where the K-pop stars first solo track has been dropped.

On January 31, BLACKPINK debuted their virtual concert, a live-streamed frenzy titled THE SHOW, during which, the hour-and-a-half-long set included a preview of Rosé's new song which has been titled GONE, and has been received as a heartfelt breakup anthem.

For those who can't wait for the release, Rosé has released a highly anticipated preview of her upcoming single in the form of a music video trailer, simply entitled, Rosé - Coming Soon. The project has been in the works for a while, according to YG entertainment, who stated “We’re working on the finishing touches for the music video. As we’ve used an unprecedented budget for this release, we’re making sure that everything is perfect. We will make the official announcement soon.”

In the short teaser, Rosé gives all of those who have been fervently waiting, a brief glimpse at her upcoming music video. The artist is set against a moody backdrop of a chaotic and relatively modest home in which she lies on the bathroom floor, flings things into a hallway, and is dining alone. Singing along to a murky electric guitar twang, the lyrics read, “All my love is gone/ All my love is gone/ Now you’re dead and gone.” How morbid, and how exciting.
