When is BLACKPINK's new album releasing?

The band have previously revealed they are in the final stages of recording Born Pink, the aforementioned new album, alongside plans for a large global tour, as publicised by their management company, YG Entertainment. Dates for the tour are yet to be announced, however we can expect the album to drop in September.

“On top of new music and large-scale projects, BLACKPINK will also go on the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group by the end of the year to expand their rapport with fans worldwide,” said YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK’s first full-length album, aptly titled The Album, in 2020, with it peaking at number two on the Billboard 200 and spending two weeks atop the Top Album Sales chart. Since then, the members of the band – Lisa, Rosé, Jisoo and Jennie – have each gone on to have individual success across fashion and beauty in addition to their musical feats. We’ve seen Lisa walk at Celine, and Jennie an animated muse at Chanel.
