As we speak, musicians are gathering for the annual MTV Video Music Awards – that's the VMAs for short. Historically speaking, the evening has always produced its fair share of memorable fashion moments, from the outlandish to the undeniably cool. But while we're counting on nominees like Harry Styles, Rosalía, Dua Lipa and Beyoncé to bring their own flair to the red carpet, our eyes are on all four member of BLACKPINK, who have rocked up to their first VMAs looking glamorous as ever.

Sticking to their ambassador duties, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé have each dressed in Chanel, Dior, Celine and Saint Laurent, respectively. Although while repping separate fashion houses, the K-Pop group's outfits are united by A-line floor-length silhouettes (except for Rosé) and the colour black.

Rosé wears a drapey mini dress with her pins on display and her hair in its signature hay-like blonde. Jennie is prim in a two piece; comprising of a star-embellished halterneck and voluminous pleated skirt with satin slippers. Jisoo is angelic in a lace bodice that drops into a floral-patterned skirt and Lisa looks simple and chic in a black pantsuit with a long necklace to accessorise.

Attendees can expect to see BLACKPINK perform their new hit single "Pink Venom" for the first time, which as it turns out is also the first time the group has ever performed at an American awards ceremony. Of course, they're not attending the VMAs as performers but also as nominees. Lisa is being recognised with a nomination for Best K-Pop Song for “LALISA”, while BLACKPINK has been nominated for two categories, namely Best Metaverse Performance and Group of the Year, the former of which they've already won.

We'll be keeping our fingers – and all our other limbs for that matter – crossed. But if we've learned anything from observing BLACKPINK it's that they're got it in the bag.

Stay inspired, follow us.
