I’ve never loved foundation but have always been a sucker for anything that promises “blurred” skin. Coverage is never the goal. But an evening of the skin tone is always preferable. Because why hide?
So when Becca Cosmetics announced just a few days ago their latest product release via Instagram I was immediately intrigued. Their new Becca Zero™ No Pigment collection includes a foundation and highlighter duo. Both products are genderless and as they have no pigment they caters to all skin tones.
Becca Cosmetics is available in Australia via Sephora stores. And whilst it is not yet released in our market, for US customers the products can be shopped via the brand's website now.
Becca Zero™ No Pigment Virtual Foundation:
The Zero™ No Pigment range consists of the Virtual foundation and the Glass Highlighter for face + lip. The foundation merges both skincare and makeup into a product that both hydrates and nourishes the skin. Through the use of the brands “Clear Light Blur Technology” the foundation manipulates light to visibly blur imperfections and smooth the skin’s texture. With added Hyaluronic Acid the formula is silicon-free meaning it controls oil production throughout the day whilst also hydrating. The end result? A matte, transparent finish and no further coverage is needed.
Becca Zero™ No Pigment Glass Highlighter for face + lip:
Highlighter has always been another tricky product for me. So often it comes with a pearlescent finish that screams early 2000s beauty we’d all rather leave behind. So if you’re after a product that captures the light and sculpts the face then the new highlighter is for you. For both the face and lips, the formula is a clear gloss with a glass like finish. Though the product is not sticky it is high shine. Again, as there is no pigment the highlighter can be used on all skin tones and genders.
