Get ready to simp over another tender white boy with brown hair! News has emerged that Adam Driver, CEO of hulking softbois, is set to star in a new musical which is very good news for Adam Driver fans, not such great news for Adam Driver fans who aren't into musicals. Sometimes trade-off's have to happen in the name of those we love.
The musical in question is titled Annette, and starring alongside Driver is Marion Cotillard, french woman of our dreams, and also not such a bad watch. The musical will tell the story of a stand-up comedian and his wife who is a world-famous singer. It has been announced that the film will premiere on July 6 by the Cannes Film Festival’s Twitter account in French, but unfortunately, all the French language romance which might have made up for the fact that its a musical will be in the toilet, considering the film is director Leos Carax’s English-language debut. Merde.
The accompanying trailer to the Film Festival's announcement shows a chaotic pastiche of scenes, from Driver Driving a motorcycle, to romantic moments of being together, Driver pulling out a knife, the couple having a baby, eerily, Driver by the pool, Cotillard prancing across the stage. It's a lot, but it certainly promises drama, romance, heartbreak and, don't you forget, singing.

If musicals aren't you cup of tea, you can catch Driver alongside Lady Gaga in their upcoming Gucci-themed film which will be releasing this spring, and follows the real-life events around the assassination of Guccio Gucci’s grandson, Maurizio, on the front steps of his Milan office. You can read more about that, here.
Until then, which other white boy is doing something we can talk about?
