Fashion / RUSSH LOVES

Our favourite pieces in this season’s activewear

Perhaps its more of a coming of age resonance, but I feel as though in such pressing times (both financially and also in fashion sustainability), when it comes to purchasing anything; it be a purchase both mindful and well considered, in that it's one that can be loved and cherished for a lifetime.

When we speak of activewear in ones wardrobe - we most often think of frivolity and disposability. I, myself, know so many, who prefer to opt for fast fashion active gear, only to see it sadly deteriorate after a season of wear and be mindlessly thrown into our ever growing landfill. Only then, to head to the stores and restart the cycle.

In this activewear piece - I wanted to introduce pieces that not only can you move, run or dance in - but those that can seamlessly transition into everyday wear; pieces made so beautifully, one could only hope that it would be treasured forever.

We have some of our favourite brands from local to global, including Nagnata, Denizeri, and my personal favourite, Gil Rodrigeuz. Below, RUSSH round up our favourite leotards, one pieces, two pieces, dresses, bralets and tights to inspire you to think outside the box whenever activewear comes to mind - our favourites pieces for you to peruse and enjoy for the coming months ahead.
